None of us in Christchurch had the events of 22nd February in our Diary! Our recently built tower block shook violently and whilst it saved our lives by staying up it may lose its own. Like many professional offices we are now working from our home. Strategic's Financial Planning and Business Platform "OMNIMax" was developed by its sister company OMNIMax Software Solutions Ltd. This platform is a Software as a Service (SaaS) operation and is not dependent on a physical office. Physical Office still standing.....but leaning! Once the internet was available (and we were never without it in Christchurch) and the power was on, the business was up and running. OMNIMax is hosted in professional data centers with redundancy and backups. We are very privileged to have systems and processes that enable business continuation. Many professional practices in the CBD may have to wait 10 months to access their offices and important documents, not to mention those that have been demolished with NO access. Strategic is now a 98% digital operation. With clients who have lost their homes and living in various locations, the Internet has become the "constant". With only 2% of Strategic's clients without Internet, pushing the digital envelope makes sense as well as reducing our "carbon footprint". All Financial PlansĀ and Client Reviews are now delivered digitally. Associated implementation paper work will be scanned and digitally saved to a folder on the Client,s Personal Login Page. This has the added advanatage of reducing the paper mountain for each client and also providing the flexibility to share the same with other associated persons. This is especially relevant to End of Year Tax Reports (Accountants) and Reviews (Trustees). Investment Statements are now available on this site. See Tab "Investment Statements 2011".
